Around Christmas time I was lucky enough to join in the Bloggers’ Hangout Twitter Party – which by the way was AWESOME! During the Twitter Party Bloggers were able to fill out forms and be gifted from amazing brands! As a result I was gifted some lovely pieces to review on my little blog here for ya!

I was lucky enough to receive some lovely bits and bobs – so be prepared for an onslaught of “Oh my God, this is amazing” posts! The first lovely gift I received was from a gorgeous brand called Doll White. This lovely brand sent me seven days worth of teeth whitening strips!

As a blogger, I am constantly finding myself in front of the camera – whether it’s for Outfit of the Day posts, so show off products or to just say hi! So being sent teeth whitening strips was a dream come true! If you know me, you’ll know that I’m quite self conscious about my teeth – I feel like they aren’t as straight as they once were and the dark shadows of Winter are only emphasizing my doubt! I was chuffed to receive a full weeks worth of the strips and was hugely optimistic about the end results – I even had to battle my boy, sisters and Mum to keep the product as they all wanted to give it a go!

This is my before shot from this time last week.

Yes, my hair hasn’t been done and I’m half made up – but there I am, warts and all! This is my before picture. My teeth are a little discolored but on the whole they aren’t terrible. So I was really optimistic about using the strips!

The strips come in a little box, all labelled up – but nice and discreet. You could sneak them into your bag or even your knicker drawer if you wanted to!

Inside are seven or fourteen (depending on your course) little black pockets with the plastic gel on for you to apply to the front section of your top and bottom teeth.

The product could not be easier to use! The little gel is on a peel off plastic strip that you place over the front of your teeth. I’ll warn you – if you’re anything like me, and I mean incredibly clumsy and giggly, your first application will be a bit of a laugh! Once your strips are over the correct portion you need to apply a touch of pressure to them to encourage them to stay in place. Then keep them on for 30 minutes, take them off, rinse your mouth and wait for results!

I was very impatient for my week to end as I was desperate to see the results! But, one bonus of this product is that it’s only helped my January diet! With the minty strips on for half an hour you can’t eat anything – and it leaves a minty fresh taste in your mouth so I avoided evening nibbles after it!

As the week went on I was finding it tricky to see any difference – but that’s usually the case when you’re ridiculously excited for an end product! My only criticism of the product is that having them on for half an hour every day for a week had an effect on the inside of my mouth. I am a bit of a Sensitive Susan and my skin can play up for just about any reason. But I did feel that my inner lips and gums suffered from the product. They became quite sore from rubbing on the plastic every day and quite painful by the end. Obviously, having something plastic and foreign shoved in your mouth for half hour a day is going to be a bit of a shock for my poor gums – so that is my only criticism of the product.

The proof is in the pudding and MY GOD is there proof! I was SO shocked when I saw my before picture put next to the after photo. See for yourself!

I am so shocked with the results! My teeth look so much whiter and I am buzzing! These pictures are only a week apart using the seven day course of Doll White Teeth Whitening Strips! I would definitely love to use this product regularly as the results are phenomenal!

The strips have completely boosted my confidence and I could not be happier with the results and the product!
